ABOUT ME
Why did you choose a career in the mortgage industry?
We bought our first home in 2007, and we were lucky to have an amazing team of loan officers and realtors that worked together to make our dream of homeownership come true. Our experience was so positive that we decided we wanted to get in on that and help others’ dreams come true too.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
We enjoy meeting new people from all over the country and helping them prepare for one of the biggest and most rewarding purchase they will ever make!

Friendly, hardworking, and dedicated!
What excites you most about life?
We live for God and family! Over the years, we have realized that family does not just connect you with others by blood, but family is the real relationships you have with others. Many clients and colleagues have become family to us over the years.
How do you give back to your community?
Both Kempes and Lori volunteer often at their children's school. Kempes is the head coach of a youth football team, and Lori is the team mom. We also participate in Homespire's community events whether we provide food for food banks or help with bay clean up in the Chesapeake.
How do you enjoy spending your free time?
We have four amazing children that take up most of our free time. We enjoy watching them play sports and do the things they love. We love to travel together making memories.
What quote motivates and inspires you?
As a married couple working together this quote hits home: “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” – Henry Ford
What's the best movie of all time?
The first movie we ever saw together was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre....now we can't even watch scary movies, and we barely like the same genres. Kempes loves action, and Lori loves a good comedy.
